Test Engineer for Avionics Integration [26107]

As part of the Integration Test and Analysis team, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Review system and subsystem designs and define verification and validation strategies for avionics integration activities;
  • Develop, implement, and maintain test cases, automated test scripts, and verification procedures;
  • Perform integration and verification activities on test benches and aircraft platforms;
  • Analyze test results, identify deviations, investigate root causes, and support the resolution of complex system issues;
  • Generate and present technical reports documenting test outcomes and recommendations;
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of test methodologies, validation tools, and next-generation test bench capabilities;
  • Support System-of-Systems testing activities involving the interaction of multiple avionics subsystems;
  • Collaborate closely with design, development, integration, and certification teams throughout the system lifecycle;
  • Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace testing standards, processes, and quality requirements.

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Master's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline;
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience within the aerospace industry;
  • Good knowledge of avionics systems and their integration principles;
  • Experience in integration, verification, and testing activities is considered an advantage;
  • Knowledge of mission systems, sensors, and data link technologies would be highly beneficial;
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, C/C++, or ATL;
  • Familiarity with test engineering and system engineering methods, processes, and tools;
  • ISTQB certification would be considered an asset;
  • Fluent English is mandatory;
  • German language skills are considered a plus;
  • Eligibility to obtain or hold a German Ü2 security clearance is required.
