As Manager for Technology Transfer in our international transfer team, you will ensure the successful execution of technology transfers for our assets worldwide.

  • In this role, you will plan, organize, and oversee the smooth transfer of analytical methods and manufacturing processes to our contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs), ensuring seamless collaboration and full alignment with project objectives.
  • Where necessary, comparability studies will be designed and managed by you to verify the consistency and robustness of transferred methods and processes.
  • Oversight of all transfer-related activities will be part of your responsibilities, including the preparation of documentation, adherence to timelines, and alignment with overarching project plans.
  • Additionally, you will coordinate and guide key transfer activities such as asset-specific training sessions, hands-on support, and documentation efforts to ensure all milestones are achieved within the defined framework.
  • Close collaboration with CMOs will be essential as you manage clinical and commercial change processes, build strong stakeholder relationships, and continuously expand your expertise through active participation in on-the-job training.
  • A Master’s or PhD in biochemistry, biology, or a related field forms the foundation of your expertise, complemented by several years of hands-on experience in commercial technology transfers within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, including solid project management capabilities.
  • Building on this, you bring in-depth knowledge of CMC and regulatory requirements related to technology transfer, including analytical method transfers. Experience in cell and gene therapy (CGT) is considered a strong asset.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail defines your working style, allowing you to approach complex challenges in a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way.
  • Equally important, you stand out through your strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with intercultural awareness. You collaborate effectively across teams and functions, manage stakeholders with confidence, and contribute as a reliable and supportive team player.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, enables you to communicate confidently and professionally in an international environment.

This position can be filled with 30-40h/week.
