What you'll do...
- Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
- Prepare weekly maintenance schedules & tests and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.
- Oversee maintenance operations and champion initiatives that promote sustainability and environmentally responsible practices.
- Supervise and train workers.
- Coordinate daily maintenance activities. cleaning and oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
- Maintain all inventory and equipment and ensure proper storage.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.
- Conduct preventative maintenance work.
- Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.
- Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
- Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time
- Fault repair, maintenance of equipment, plumbing, furniture and lighting.
- Perform general tasks such as connecting equipment, lighting, installing locks and hinges etc.
- Accurate control of the work and your own workspace and equipment.
- Prepare order and stock takes.
- Cover Maintenance Technicians shifts as required.
What we’re looking for…
- Completed vocational training in a relevant field (Electrical, Plumbing, Building Services, or a related trade)
- Ideally 2-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, Electrician, or in a similar role
- Fluent in both German and English (any additional language is a plus)
- Solid technical knowledge and strong problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including varying working hours
- Skilled in carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks
- A team player who is equally comfortable working independently
